Emily P. Young diary and reminiscences

Description:
Account of Young's activities and family life in Salt Lake City as a plural wife of Brigham Young. Contains her reflections on religious and secular topics, including polygamy and women's rights. The diary also contains her copy of several papers of her father, Edward Partridge. Also included are several different reminiscences which recount her early experiences in Ohio and in Missouri, life in Nauvoo, Illinois, and plural marriage to Joseph Smith.
