Summary:

Contains reminiscences of childhood and early experiences as a sailor, introduction to the Church, emigration to Utah in 1854 and activities around Salt Lake City. Copies of diary entries record his mission to the Eastern States, 1856-1858, return to Utah and activities in Star Valley, Wyoming. Compiled and indexed by family members. Includes family genealogy and poetry he composed.
