Summary:

Brief account of Streeper's life as told by granddaughter Dorothy Streeper. Streeper moved to Nauvoo, Illinois (1843), and to Salt Lake City, Utah (1850); participated in rescue of Willie Handcart Company (1856); was member of Nauvoo Legion (1857); carried mail for Pony Express from Salt Lake City, Utah, to Sacramento, California (1860-1862); and settled in Centerville, Utah (1868).
