    Identified and unidentified studio portraits and outdoor views of missionary groups, companionships, individual missionaries, and local members (including some unidentified African-American members) as well as studio portrait of Elias Kimball with Ben E. Rich and J. Golden Kimball. Includes Elias Kimball's wife, Luella Whitney Kimball, and Francis M. Lyman and Matthias F. Cowley.

    Most studio group portraits are of newly-arrived missionaries. Outdoor shots feature both missionaries and members, with most group photographs having been taken at a district conference. Identified conference photographs were taken in Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

    Also includes studio portrait of missionaries in Los Angeles assigned to California Mission; view of LDS meeting hall in Helsingborg, Sweden; view of Heber C. Kimball's grave in Salt Lake City, Utah; views relating to Elias Kimball's service in Spanish-American War; and views of Center Street in Provo, Utah, and other scenes.
