Summary:

Includes a translation of a journal by an unidentified author, giving a detailed account of the journey of the John E. Forsgren Emigrating Company from Denmark to Utah, 1852-1853; also a copy of a letter by Christian Nielsen, telling of his experiences on the journey, and an alphabetical list containing biographical information on many persons in the company. The journal, which has been indexed, also includes a few entries postdating the arrival of the company in Utah, and a few notes from a meeting of the Carson Stake high council, 17 May 1857.
