Summary:

Account of Henry Day's activities as a non-Mormon in Nauvoo, Illinois, his encounter with a mob going from Warsaw to Carthage at the time of Joseph Smith's death, emigration to Utah in 1850, and conversion to the Church there. Includes account of his activities during the the Utah War, and while living in Draper, Utah. Also includes biographical information concerning his three wives, Leah Rawlins, Elizabeth Cottrell, and Caroline Nylander. The first part of this account was dictated by Day to his daughter Ella Neilsen before his death. The last part was written by an unknown author.
