    Contains an account, written by his son Calvin Merkley, of Merkley's early life in Salt Lake City, Utah and St. Charles, Idaho, work in the cattle industry throughout Canada, service as a missionary in Manitoba, and marriage and family life in Alberta. Includes pictures and copies of correspondence. Also includes three appendices containing a biography of his father Christopher Merkley, articles regarding the Church from the Winnipeg Free Press, and biographical histories of Merkley's children.
