Summary:

Collection consists of two 1833 plats of the city of Zion to be built in Independence, Missouri, and also a later incomplete representation. The 1833 plats are in the handwriting of Frederick G. Williams. The plat in folder 1 was sent by Joseph Smith to Bishop Edward Partridge and other Church leaders in Missouri in June 1833. The plat in folder 2 may have been sent to Missouri after 10 August 1833.
